5 Things to Do in Bondi

Bondi… when you hear it you think of the iconic Sydney beach packed with tourists looking to tick it off their travel bucket list. Yes the main attraction is the 1km stretch of sand, but if you venture out a little you will discover this eastern suburb town has a lot more to offer. In this blog post I will show you 4 other things to do when in Bondi.

1. Bondi Beach

Bondi Beach

Bondi gets its name from the Aboriginal meaning of water breaking over rocks, this can be seen at the northern and southern ends of the beach. The popular TV series Bondi Rescue is filmed on this beach. Bondi Rescue shows the everyday rescues performed by the Bondi beach lifeguards usually on inexperienced tourists. This is the type of TV show you don’t want to make a special appearance on. To stay safe always swim between the red and yellow flags!
